Peanut Butter Power Bars

Ingredients:

Large mixing bowl 

  1. 2 ½ c. rolled oats
  2. 1 c. cheerios
  3. 1 ½ c. wheaties
  4. 1 c. dried craisins
  5. ½ c. chocolate chips
  6. ½ c. chopped walnuts You can substitute almonds or cashews. Walnuts have the most benefit
  7. ½ c. raisins
  8. 1 ¼ c. honey
  9. 1 c. peanut butter

Method:

  1. Slowly heat honey and peanut butter in small sauce pan. Mix until smooth and Incorporated. Keep warm.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Gently fold honey mixture into dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Place mix on rectangular cookie sheet. Press firmly in cookie sheet.
  5. Cover with wax paper or plastic film. Use rolling pin to flatten out evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Cut into squares or rectangles. 
  7. These do not need to be refrigerated
